Meet the Team

  • Ron Fisher is the founder of Fisher Coaching. Drawing on decades of experience in nonprofit management, education, and civic leadership, Ron partners with leaders and teams to uncover clarity, align around purpose, and cultivate the kind of leadership that moves people forward.

    In addition to his work with Fisher Coaching, Ron has over five years of experience directing organizational health and development work for the Kansas Department for Children and Families. He has also collaborated with community foundations to design and guide initiatives that bring local partners together around shared goals. A former school board member, Ron works with school district executives through executive coaching and leadership development.

    Ron’s practice is grounded in the principles of adaptive leadership. He holds an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School, has a Certified Public Manager credential through the University of Kansas Public Management Center, and is credentialed as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). His approach is practical, people centered and rooted in the belief that when individuals develop around leadership, communities thrive.

  • Darla Fisher is a leadership coach and educational consultant with over 30 years of experience in K–12 education. Her background as a teacher, instructional coach, principal, and district leader gives her a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges school leaders face. She partners with principals, coaching teams, and district leaders to strengthen instruction, build collaborative cultures, and grow leadership capacity.

    Grounded in Cognitive Coaching, Darla’s approach emphasizes reflective thinking, intentional conversation, and supportive challenge to help leaders bring out the best in themselves and others. She is passionate about educational equity and believes strong leadership—rooted in relationships and clarity—transforms schools.

    Known for her collaborative style, Darla has worked closely with community partners to connect schools with family and mental health resources. Her leadership has earned recognition from the Kansas State Department of Education and community organizations, reflecting her ongoing commitment to service, trust-building, and practical, people-centered coaching.
